In this project I was prompted to redesign a piece of athletic equipment. I chose to redesign performance traction soles from Vibram. To do this I approached the sole in three pieces, footbed, clips/hardware, and traction pattern. Through exploration and iteration I landed on a model inspired by the rhino beetle.
